Hi dear readers, I am Romain !
Finland was on my bucket list for a very long time. Landscapes, way of life, nature respect, …

Finally, I have the opportunity to live there for five month thanks to the Erasmus program. I had to go through several administrative stuff before jumping right into this adventure such as :
- The application for the university (I am going to SeAMK)
Erasmus programs are very well organized and my engineering school (Esaip) led us during the process. - Find an apartment
I wanted a collocation with foreign student to improve my English skills. I found a very nice place in the area named “Kiinteistö Oy Marttilan kortteeri” which is THE PLACE TO BE for foreign students. - Transport
I will take off from Marseille (because I am Maseillais and I like the Ricard). My first step will be in Amsterdam (2 hours approximately) then I will take another plane to Helsinki and finally a train from Helsinki to Seinäjoki. It is a 6 hours trip and cost me around €150 (one way ticket).
I cannot wait to share with you my adventure,
Take care,
Romain.
